Best Of: April 2019

May 1st, 2019

Woah!

I’m not gonna lie, I didn’t get to nearly as much as I wanted within the confines of these 30 days. There’s a catch-up list at the bottom. But April was so good for the new releases I got a hold on!

From Weyes Blood’s stellar orchestral alternative record (Curt Schieber had some good words about it on The Invisible Hits Hour) to Jade Bird’s phenomenal self-titled debut (I’ve had some good things to say about her since the debut of “Uh Huh”)**, there was a plethora of reeeal good music this month.

Be on the lookout for Fontaines D.C… Their performance on Fallon last night should speak for itself (and they’ll be at Ace of Cups in a few months….!)

As always, I missed something! Let me know what I need to catch up on, and there’s always chance we’ll be catching the single on the airwaves :-)
