As long as she can remember, music has been an artistic outlet for Krista.
At the age of 4, Krista began singing. She was active in school choirs, ensemble, plays and talent shows throughout her childhood and teenage years. Growing up, Krista’s father and older brother became her biggest musical influences, introducing her to a variety of genres that filled her house.
Following graduation from college, Krista moved to Chicago and was introduced to another side of the music industry when she landed a job with the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers
(ASCAP). Through her work with ASCAP, Krista realized she wanted to turn her passion into a profession.
Upon moving back to her hometown of Columbus, Ohio, Krista was hired as a production intern at CD102.5FM, where she worked on-air, side-by-side with the late, local legend Andyman Davis.
After serving as an intern for three months, Krista was hired on as a DJ and then promoted to morning show co-host. As a co-host, she gained experience interviewing local and national musicians, TV
celebrities, athletes and comedians.
Krista has also dipped into voice-over work for television and national websites and has hosted her own radio show on via the web. She has seen all sides of the music industry, from being a singer herself, to
being involved with production, promoting, and teaching herself the banjo-she doesn’t limit her self.
