On Wednesday, October 17, Aveda Institute Columbus will provide complimentary
haircuts, makeup applications, express facials, polish changes and neck and shoulder
massages to raise breast cancer awareness.
The Institute, a school of cosmetology and spa/skin care, hopes to raise $7500 that day to
benefit The Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research.
A $10 donation is suggested for each service during this event. One hundred percent of
the donations received on the day of the event will be donated to The Stefanie Spielman
Fund for Breast Cancer Research at Ohio State’s Comprehensive Cancer Center – James
Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute.
The CD102.5 Ice Cream Truck will be on location at the South Campus Gateway location from 11:30am-1pm.
