New/Old Live Bowie from '97

May 8th, 2020

If you know me at all, you know I'm a HUGE David Bowie fan. Easily in my Top 5 if not Top 3 artists. I've often said some of his best work came in the mid 90's with the albums "Outside" and "Earlthling". Well, if you are fan of that era, you are in luck. There will be 3 live albums from this era coming in the next few months. Starting on May 15 with "" a '97 Eartling Tour disc featuring performances from performaces from 4 different shows. New York, Amsterdam, Rio and U.K. Festival "Phoenix UK".

The set list is pretty great. Of the 12 songs it will include "Little Wonder", "I'm Afraid Of Americans", Hallo Spaceboy", "Hearts Filthy Lesson" and some other gems.

I was lucky enough to see the "Earthling" tour at The International Ballroom in Atlanta on Oct. 10 '97. Not a huge venue by any means. The setlist that night was rediculous, including "Quicksand", "Look Back In Anger", "Strangers When We Meet" and 16 others. Check out the full setlist here. In the meantime, check out the version of "Little Wonder" from this album.
